Bladz and Rayz...the beginning. In January of 2001 Bladz and Rayz became the reality of a dream that Jenny Muccino had in mind when she came as a young comsmetologist to Eastern North Carolina in 1990. She built a business that relied on the trust and relationships she developed with her customers. She believed that Havelock could have a hair salon that would cater to the diverse population that inhabits our lovely community. From the professional man or woman to the young military serviceperson, to stay at home moms and their children, she created an atmosphere that all could come to be treated with a professional service in a casual atmosphere. After replacing six aging tanning beds with newer European models, she began to build the "Hot Rayz" part of Bladz and Rayz. Offering the hottest beds at the lowest prices, she introduced and set the standard that others would try to emulate and follow. At Bladz and Rayz our packages are designed to be the best value, with world class results. She believed in giving the customer the best tan, at the lowest price. We're still open 7 days a week, and we still offer $25 one month unlimited tanning.
